The actuator has a built-in, valve-side temperature used with its internal p-type temperature controller to regulate the drinking domestic hot water temperature. A controllable offset with Default flow sensor offset of +5°C has been added to compensate for the temperature drop between the hot water and the sensor element located in the actuator’s aluminum valve adapter. The device transmits a variety of information to the control unit by sending an uplink (Section 7.1). The control unit responds by sending a downlink (Section 7.2).
