Due to thermal transitions, an An offset occurs between the flow temperature sensor installed in the MLR003 and the actual temperature in the water circuit. (This offset is due to thermal transitions: a temperature drop in the valve itself, and via the valve connection/adapter to the MLR003 sensor.) . This offset is compensated by the automatic offset correction function in the MLR003. The correction function was determined by exact measurement of valves and determine the water temperature with an accuracy of +/- n°C.

Therefore, the device uses the following automatic offset correction:

Flow Sensor RAW Value = (1.1964 * Flow Sensor measured Value) - 3.7785
