Load the device credentials DEVEUI, APPEUI (JOINEUI) and APPKEY supplied with the MLR003 into your gateway. Questions about device credentials can be sent directly to devicecredentials@micropelt.com.
2.
Installation
The MLR003 is delivered in the mounting position = OFF. Install the actuator on the intended radiator with M30 x 1,5 valve connection or corresponding valve adapter Valve adapter .
3.
Activation and operation
Activate the MLR003 by briefly touching the micropelt logo on the MLR003 with the magnetic pen (see picture).
First acoustic signal (and 1x LED): confirms successful activation.
Double acoustic signal (and 2x LED): confirms successful connection join to the gateway.
Triple acoustic signal (and 3x LED): confirms successful execution of the reference run.
Normal operation: For the first 5 minutes after activation the device will communicate every 10 seconds. Thereafter the device communication intervals are as specified in the downlink.
Failure: Long acoustic signals indicate failed operations. Remark join failure: Gateway or device credentials not configured Archived Multitech MTCAP Gateway documentation lmgiarchived. Repeat the process with 4. RESET Remark reference run: Check device assembly and valve body. Repeat the process with 4. RESET
4.
Deactivation or RESET
To deactivate, unmount the MLR003 from the radiator valve and perform a manual RESET. To perform the RESET, hold the magnetic pen to the micropelt logo for five seconds (tone signal and 1x LED). The MLR003 restarts. When unmounted, the MLR003 will fail its reference run, go into mounting position, and switch OFF.
