myc°rrhiza is a test tool for the Micropelt Long Range (MLR) LoRaWAN product family
myc°rrhiza is an executable program for Windows PCs.
Logging In
Login to your LoRa gateway using your IP address, username, and password.
If you are unsure of the gateway IP address, enter the first three numbers and click “Scan for MQTT Hosts”.
Devices
Add Devices to the Gateway
To upload devices from a CSV file to the gateway:
Click the bottom left yellow dot
Input the gateway HTTP username and gateway HTTP password (note: these may be different to the username and password used to login to myc°rrhiza)
Click Open, and select the device credentials file (tip: use the Device Credentials file that was emailed to you when the MLR devices were shipped)
Click “Add Devices to Gateway”
Click the green tick
Add Devices to myc°rrhiza
After logging in, any device that sends uplinks to your LoRa gateway will appear on the left.
You can also add devices manually by clicking the bottom left button “Add a device to myc°rrhiza”.
Configure Devices
Schedules
Click the “Schedule” tab
Click the “TX” box next to the devices to which you want to create a schedule
Set the temperature, days, and time at which you want the schedule
Click “Schedule”
Note: Devices which receive scheduled instructions will be set to the General Radio Communication Interval. To set the General Radio Communication, click the bottom left yellow dot.
It is strongly recommended to use an external temperature sensor. See the next section.
Automatically Send Room Temperature
myc°rrhiza can be used to automatically send a room temperature from a device sensor to all device actuators in the same room.
On the computer, ensure “curl” is installed. See https://curl.se/ .
In myc°rrhiza, click the bottom left yellow dot
Input the gateway HTTP username and gateway HTTP password (note: these may be different to the username and password used to login to myc°rrhiza)
Tick “Automatically send temperature…”
Click the green tick
In myc°rrhiza, group device sensors and device actuators into named rooms

PI Control
To set the PI coefficients of devices:
Click the “PI” tab
Click the “TX” box next to the devices of which you want to set the coefficients
Fill in the Coefficient numbers
Click “Send”
To get the PI coefficients of devices:
Click the “PI” tab
Click the “TX” box next to the devices of which you want to get the coefficients
Click “Get Coefficients”
Click the yellow dot next to the device
