MLR003 Firmware Update Tool
Purpose: This guide outlines the requirements and procedure for updating device firmware using the STM32 Cube Programmer.
The Firmware Updater Tool retains the original Application Key. If the device is reconnecting to the same Gateway after the update, you do not need to update any credentials
🛠 Prerequisites
Before starting, ensure you have the following hardware and software installed:
1. Hardware Requirements
USB Cable: High-quality USB-A to Micro-USB cable.
RFID Reader: ACS ACR1252U (NFC Forum Certified) is the preferred model. (Not needed when entering the DEV EUI Manually)
PC Connection: Use a powered USB hub if you encounter stability issues.
2. Software Requirements

If the flashing process fails or the device is not recognized, try these steps in order:
Check the Cable: Swap the Micro-USB cable for a different one; some cables are "power-only" and do not transfer data.
Power Issues: Plug the device into a powered USB hub rather than directly into the laptop/PC port.
Driver Check: Ensure the ACR1252U drivers are active in your Device Manager.
